The top 20 happiest countries in 2022 includes, but is not limited to: Finland, Denmark, Switzerland, Netherlands, Sweden, Israel, New Zealand, Austria, Germany, Ireland, Czech Republic and Belgium. Places on the low end of the happiness scale tended to be in Africa and the Middle East, the exceptions being Bahrain, UAE, and Israel which all made it into the top 25. Most of Europe and Central to South America floated around the Mid-High Range with Asia mostly being just below them. Another way you might want to measure the society of the country you are heading to, is to evaluate the laws and examine the statistics which focus on how LGBT+ people are accepted there.
