Whether you’re broke or wealthy, money has affects everything. Countries with similar cultures to Pakistan, India, Syria, Nepal or Afghanistan, generally have the lowest cost of living, and the more western the country, the higher the cost. The exception being Japan which has a similarly high cost of living to the Nordic countries despite not being western. Cost of living, however, doesn’t necessarily align with how much money tourists spend there. The countries with the highest average tourist spendings are: Australia, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Qatar, Panama, Macau, Sweden, Maldives, and Israel. If you were planning to visit one of those previously mentioned countries, maybe check to make sure your wallet won’t be empty once you’re done. For tourism costs, Europe and Central America are generally on the Mid-High range and Africa is near the bottom. Democratic Asian countries are also particularly expensive like Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea. If you’re sure that money won’t be a problem for your dream destination, the next thing to consider is climate.
